The will to find meaning

It is a fundamental drive and duty of your brain to find "meaning" It's an essential part of the human existence and experience. The brain is hardwired to find negativity. Does that create an environment that we can't escape from? Or is the brain trying to serve us?

You are in the control seat of your entire existence. Look around you. Do you see yourself over perhaps decades striving to build what you actually have around you now? If you aren't satisfied with the results, can you change the outcome? Yes. Sometimes we impatient humans feel as if we have no control over anything. Our brain is just another organ after all, but is it?

You may have encountered the concept of "manifestation" and possibly tried it yourself, only to dismiss it as silly or new-age nonsense. I'm not here to change your mind, but it's important to understand the natural functions of the brain, which is indeed part of your body (unless it has been surgically removed, in which case this discussion wouldn't make sense to you). The brain is powerful and can influence your life through physics and energy. Interested in learning more now? While you might not be able to manifest a million dollars overnight as some theorists suggest, however what if you could begin guiding your brain to achieve outcomes once thought impossible by harnessing the power of your mind to shape outcomes?

Tip: NO one has ever seen the mind

This is where we begin to think. Is the brain the mind? Or does the mind exist outside of the brain. Why do we call things "states of mind?" These are some pretty deep thoughts. So, what is your mind thinking as you read this? Wikipedia states: "The mind is explained by saying it which thinks, feels perceives, imagines remembers and wills." Metaphically speaking the mind exists in the fundamental nature of reality. Including the relationship between mind and matter.

Tip #2 - Metaphysics and science

What becomes particularly fascinating is that, although Metaphysics is theoretically more spiritual than scientific, modern science has not rendered it obsolete; in fact, it is more relevant today than ever. Quantum mechanics has led physicists to echo ancient philosophers, questioning whether particles exist prior to observation and considering the role of consciousness in shaping reality. Artificial intelligence is now exploring the potential for consciousness to emerge from computer knowledge, as it examines what matters to humans and develops an understanding of how human emotion influences the requirements of specific applications.

"The question is not whether intelligent machines can have any emotions, but whether machines can be intelligent without any emotions." - Marvin Minsky, 1986

Tip #3 The brain is constantly searching

Become open-minded. Follow what those who truly seek facts are illuminating in their field of study by becoming the greatest thinkers of all to help us follow the contours of the challenges ahead. The brain cannot see outside of the skull it lives in. It totally relies on the input you provide to it, coupled with other parts of the body's systems, to create your reality. Life as you know it so to speak.

Tip #4 - Your reality is your own not someone else's

If this is true, isn't it possible then, to create your own luck or lack thereof? Have you noticed how algorithms track what you watch and bring you exactly what you were looking for just minutes ago? While this is an example of human-made programming, your brain has been listening to you since the moment you were born. It wants to serve you and allow certain things you want or need to happen so that you are protected, or perhaps learning something new was on your mind at the moment. For example, touch something hot, and your senses remember. Anything resembling that experience is instantly wired into your neural network. It didn't feel good, so you avoid touching it or any form of it in the future. However, you likely learned that fire, while hot, can also provide comfort and warmth, though it poses a danger. Without delving too deeply, it's possible to retrain your thoughts. Neuroscientists call this neuroplasticity. You can control what you take into your reality and believe to be true. If you've experienced something someone else hasn't, it's not part of their reality or framework. They can only understand by listening to your explanation, which can then influence their own reality because they have decided to accept what you said as true.

Tip #5 - Noticing where your mind is

We focus on negativity naturally. Any person working in the fields of psychology or counseling will verify this for you. John Cabot, mindfulness expert states that mindfulness practice is a form of meditation that you can begin noticing what you are thinking about in the present and direct the energy of thought so that you can experience more joy, peace before the mind comes in to label and define the thought. It is not necessary to suffer to prove love for instance. Conditioning does not need to be right all of the time. Mindfulness to me is a tool to explore what is driving my happy and low times. It's a way to monitor my mind and take care of the organism of thought that I may be housing internally in my mind and passing it on to the brain to work with that to produce a result. I'm only able to think about what I gave it to work on. Repetition is what seals the neural network. It's unfortunate to teach people that find everything skeptical this lesson. Of course, no one can force anyone to think anything they do not want to. Gradually when we don't believe some of the conditioning we have put in place and begin to form a new habit of thinking about things we begin change that is needed for improved living. From there, we begin to forge a new understanding to shape our new reality. In short, change is possible and is good.
